CUET PG Result: A Pivotal Moment for 198 Universities

The CUET PG 2026 results are crucial as they will determine eligibility for admissions across 198 universities this year. Released on April 24, 2026, the results mark a significant milestone in the academic calendar for many aspiring postgraduate students.

The examination itself took place from March 6 to March 27, spanning three weeks of rigorous testing. Candidates endured a computer-based test (CBT) format—bilingual, except for certain papers—designed to evaluate their readiness for advanced studies.

On April 11, the provisional answer key was published, allowing candidates to assess their performance ahead of the official results. However, the objection window closed just three days later, on April 14, leaving little room for dispute.

Now that results are out, candidates can check their CUET PG scorecard by visiting exams.nta.nic.in/CUET-PG/. Access requires their application number and password—an essential step in this high-stakes process.

The CUET PG scorecard includes vital information: candidate name, application number, total marks secured, and category details. This information will play a critical role in the upcoming CUET PG counselling process.

Each of the participating universities will set its own eligibility criteria based on CUET PG scores. The significance of these results cannot be understated; they dictate not only who qualifies but also who may fall short of the necessary CUET PG passing marks and cutoff scores.

Normalization of scores is another important aspect—especially since multiple shifts occurred during the exam period. This ensures fairness across varying test conditions and reflects a commitment to equitable evaluation.

The next steps are pivotal. As candidates await their placements in the CUET PG merit list, many will feel the weight of uncertainty. But one thing is clear: these results will shape academic futures across India.
