GATE Results 2026: Candidates Can Now Check Their Scores Online

The GATE Result 2026 has been declared on March 19, 2026, providing candidates who appeared for the exam an opportunity to check their scores online.

Candidates can access their results through the GOAPS portal by logging in with their Enrollment ID or registered email ID and password. The official result link is available at gate2026.iitg.ac.in.

The GATE exam, conducted in February 2026, is a critical assessment for engineering graduates seeking admission to postgraduate programs and recruitment opportunities in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). This year, approximately 6.5 lakh candidates participated in the examination.

Following the exam, the GATE 2026 answer key and response sheet were released on February 22, 2026, allowing candidates to gauge their performance prior to the official results announcement.

The GATE score remains valid for three years for M.Tech admissions in IITs, NITs, and other institutions, while for most PSU recruitments, the score is typically valid for just one year.

As candidates check their results, they can also utilize the Physics Wallah (PW) GATE Rank Predictor Tool to estimate their expected rank and normalized score. An unofficial list of toppers has been released based on estimates from this tool.

For candidates whose GATE results are withheld, instructions for resolution are available, ensuring that all participants have access to necessary support.

Expected cut-off marks for top PSUs range between 65–80+, with ranks required for top PSU jobs falling between 100–1000. Additionally, top PSUs are offering packages ranging from 12–20 LPA.

As the results are now live, candidates are encouraged to check their scores promptly and prepare for the next steps in their academic and professional journeys.
