RTE Online: Rajasthan Lottery Result 2026 Announced

Rajasthan Education Department Announces RTE Lottery Results

The Rajasthan Education Department has announced the RTE admission lottery result for 2026, with over 6.3 lakh applicants vying for free seats in private schools across the state. This lottery system is a crucial mechanism under the Right to Education Act, aimed at ensuring access to education for all children.

Selected students are required to complete document verification and report to their allotted schools between March 13 and March 21, 2026. Parents can check the lottery results on the official RTE Rajasthan website, rajpsp.nic.in. The application process for free admission in private schools began on February 20 and concluded on March 10, 2026.

A total of 19,92,357 applications were received for admissions in 33,137 private schools throughout Rajasthan. The lottery system aims to provide equitable access to education, particularly for underprivileged families. Parents were allowed to select up to five schools during the application process, with the hope of securing a place for their children.

For successful applicants, the verification process will require several important documents, including an income certificate, domicile certificate, caste certificate, birth certificate, and a BPL card if applicable. Schools will verify these documents until March 25, 2026, ensuring that all selected students meet the eligibility criteria.

Classes for all admitted students are set to commence on April 1, 2026. Parents have the opportunity to change the order of their selected schools until March 16, 2026, allowing for some flexibility in their choices. If any seats remain vacant after the initial round of allotment, a second phase of school allotment will take place on April 7, 2026.

In a notable aspect of this year’s lottery, there were three third-gender students who applied for admission, highlighting the inclusivity efforts under the RTE framework. The Rajasthan Education Department continues to emphasize the importance of providing educational opportunities to all children, regardless of their background.

Parents can also register grievances regarding the admission process on the RTE portal until April 2, 2026. This provision aims to address any concerns or issues that may arise during the admission process, ensuring transparency and fairness. As the education landscape evolves, observers expect that the RTE initiative will continue to play a vital role in shaping the future of education in Rajasthan.
