Odisha 10th Result 2026: A New Era with Dual Language Certificates

For the first time, students in Odisha will receive their Class 10 results on May 2, 2026, at 4 PM, with certificates issued in both Odia and English. This change marks a significant step toward inclusivity and accessibility in education.

Key details about the examination:

  • A total of 561,979 candidates appeared for the exams held across more than 3,000 centres.
  • The examinations took place from February 19 to March 2, 2026.
  • A minimum of 33 percent marks is required to pass.

Students can access their scorecards online starting at 6 PM on bseodisha.ac.in and bseodisha.nic.in. Additionally, they have the option to check their results via SMS by sending OR10 followed by their roll number to 5676750. The Umang App also offers an accessible platform for viewing results.

The provisional marksheet will include vital information such as the student’s name, roll number, subject-wise marks, total score, and qualifying status. This comprehensive approach reflects a growing emphasis on transparency and student support.

The previous year saw an impressive pass percentage of 94.69 percent, indicating strong performance across the state. This trend raises questions about whether the new dual-language certificates will further enhance student confidence and engagement.

As we look ahead, it’s clear that this initiative by BSE Odisha aims to cater to a diverse student population. However, uncertainties remain regarding how these changes will impact future examinations and educational policies.
