Meerut Weather Update: Significant Changes in Conditions

Uttar Pradesh is currently undergoing a notable shift in weather, marked by light rain and thunderstorms affecting various regions, including Meerut. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings for thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds across the state, with hailstorms possible in isolated eastern areas.

In Agra, a significant temperature drop of 4.9 degrees Celsius has been noted, while Jammu is anticipating extreme lows, with a minimum temperature expected to reach -10 degrees Celsius.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken proactive measures by instructing district magistrates to assess crop damage and expedite compensation distribution to farmers affected by the adverse weather.
