Madhusudan Linga Muralidhar showcased his exceptional talent by clinching the singles, doubles, and mixed doubles titles at the ITF World Masters MT 200 ITF tennis championship held in Hyderabad. His performance was nothing short of dominant, particularly in the singles final where he defeated Sanjay Singh with an impressive score of 6-0, 6-1.
In the doubles category, Madhusudan partnered with Nandyala Narsimhareddy to secure victory against Murali Krishna Raju and Subrahmanyam Raju, finishing with a score of 6-3, 6-4. The mixed doubles final saw Madhusudan team up with Sasi Kala Penimetsa, where they triumphed over Nitesh Rungta and Sree Gynamote with a score of 6-2, 6-3.
This championship marks a significant achievement for Madhusudan, who has now clinched a ‘triple’ crown in the ITF tennis championship, winning titles across different age categories. His versatility and skill on the court have made him a standout player in this tournament.
Looking ahead, the Indorama Ventures Open Golf Championship is set to take place from March 12 to 15 at the Kalhaar Blues & Greens Golf Club in Ahmedabad. This tournament will feature a competitive field of 143 players vying for a prize purse of US$300,000 (INR 2.76 crore).
The golf event will be played in a stroke-play format, consisting of four rounds of 18 holes each, with a par of 72 for the course. As the tournament approaches, golf enthusiasts are eager to see how the players will perform in this prestigious championship.
